This week Elle Varner is our in-studio guest, playing songs from a new mixtape called “Ellevation.” This is Elle’s first new set of songs since her 2012 hit debut “Perfectly Imperfect.” Now 30, Elle Varner expands beyond her early pop and hip hop sound, and talks about the evolution on this week’s show, recorded at her father Jimmy Varner’s studio in Bushwick.
