Texas songwriter Hayes Carll joins us in the studio this week, playing songs from his new album “What It Is.” Hayes was schooled on songwriting early by the likes of Guy Clark and Ray Wylie Hubbard, and his songs have been cut by some of Nashville’s finest. “What It Is” is Carll’s 6th album.
