Coming to us from his home turf of Lafayette, Louisiana, Sonny Landreth plays songs from his 2020 release called “Blacktop Run.” For this guitar legend, finding new and exciting musical and lyrical ideas was key to the new project. Starting the album with producer Tony Daigle, he decided to add in his old friend R.S. Field, with whom he’s worked for decades. Our session was recorded at Tony Daigle’s home studio (where the project began).
