Gregory Porter - 3/26/18

Multiple Grammy winning jazz and pop vocalist and songwriter Gregory Porter joins us this week. Last fall, Gregory released a touching tribute called “Nat King Cole & Me,” and on our show he discusses the deep relationship he had with the late icon’s music when he was a small child. Porter also performs some originals and a Cole cover in our session recorded in February at St. Cecilia Music Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For our session, Gregory was joined by his pianist, Chip Crawford.
